We’re the outside view social teams are missing.

Social teams have more data than ever and still can’t say what to do with it. Dashboards show what happened. Working out why, and what it means for next week, takes knowing which signals matter and which are noise. That is what Sodalytics does.

Why Sodalytics exists

Sodalytics was founded by Björn Rohwer after years on both sides of social media. As a creator, he grew a football TikTok channel organically from zero to 50,000 followers in six months, and saw how much a hook, a format or a single comment can change where a channel goes. As Head of Data & AI at We Are Era, part of Bertelsmann, he led the analytics behind campaigns and channels for major consumer brands.

Few people have done both. Analysts rarely have first-hand experience making content work and creators rarely work with data at that scale. Sodalytics reads the numbers with both in mind, finds and explains the patterns a dashboard doesn’t show.

The result is independent analysis that ends in decisions rather than dashboards.

What we stand for

Independent.

We don’t make content or run channels, so our analysis has no stake in the answer.

Actionable, or it’s out.

Insights need to have a clear actionable reason to be included. We’re not here to find fun facts, but to get you where you want to be.

AI-assisted, human-curated.

AI helps us collect and label. We interpret the analysis and write every report.

Creators, yes. Private people, no.

We work with public data. Creators and brands can be named for what they’ve published. Commenters and private accounts never are.

How we work with data

Our methods were forged in analytics work for some of the world’s most recognized consumer brands: DAX, CAC 40 and Dow Jones constituents, and household names across beauty, consumer health, food, fashion and retail.
